- Raw images from Canon 20D cameras are rendered properly.

Known issues for Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2
- When you open a raw camera image and then save it to the JPG format, some EXIF MakerNote tag data is stripped out.
- Resaving an image in version XI.2 (11.2) of the application results in the loss of the "Date taken" EXIF data.
- CDR images with accented characters cannot be opened.
- Alpha channel transparency for HD Photo images is not currently supported.
- Some 16-bit-per-channel TIFF images are previewed and opened as grayscale images.
- Saving an image as a CMYK TIFF sometimes results in extensive color shifting.
- A cryptic error message sometimes appears when you attempt to open a DNG file.
- Instead of displaying the message "The path is read only," the Auto Preserve Original feature incorrectly displays the message "file name specified is invalid."
- Editing and then saving an image with an embedded profile sometimes causes the image to be saved without the profile.
- Garbled text characters and compatibility issues result from attempts to reopen images that contain Japanese text and are saved to formats from older versions of the application.
- An incorrect error message results from attempting to save an image to a nonexistent folder.
- Images are not properly embedded in e-mail when you use the File > E-mail command with Outlook in Microsoft Office XP. It is best to attach the image in these cases.
- In the Organizer, tags that contain special characters cannot be removed or renamed.
- When you catalog new folders and images by using the Organizer, you must refresh the view to correct the appearance of the image thumbnail.
- When you use the Set Wallpaper command in the Organizer, the desired image is not properly displayed, particularly in the vertical dimension.
- When you attempt to enter caption text in the Info pane of the Organizer and you switch the IME mode from Off to On, the Caption field loses focus.
- On the Windows Vista operating system, after you apply a star rating to an image and then attempt to delete the image, the prompt indicates that the image is not rated.
- When you drag an image onto a tag that you created in the left pane of the Organizer and then delete the tag, create a new tag, and drag the image onto the new tag, both the new tag and the deleted tag are applied to the image.
- In the Organizer, the tagging function does not work properly when you drag a tag onto a TIF image, or a TIF image onto a tag. You can add a tag to a TIF image by opening the General Info panel and manually typing a tag.
- System failure results when you attempt to use the Organizer to browse to a folder that contains an STN (Genuine Fractals) image.
- When you access the Express Lab from the Organizer, navigate to a different folder in the Express Lab, and then return to the Organizer, the latest Express Lab folder does not appear as the currently cataloged Organizer folder.
- The Download option on the Get Photos page of the Learning Center fails to properly connect to a connected camera if the camera is not WIA-compliant.
- On the Windows Vista operating system, Paint Shop Pro Photo does not appear on the list of host applications for scanners.
- Images scanned with a Canon 8600F scanner do not open in the proper size.
- Paint Shop Pro Photo cannot be added to the list of destination applications for HP Scanjet scanners.
- After the Reflection Layer Style effect is applied to an image and the image is cropped, the baseline for the effect shifts. To reposition the baseline, access Layer Styles after you crop the image.
- When you copy or paste a Layer Styles layer as a new image, the applied effects shift or change slightly. You can refresh and reposition the effects by accessing Layer Styles after you paste the layer.
- When you use the Text tool and attempt to apply single-byte characters in the Japanese font and IME set to On, the text characters appear in Arial font.
- When you drag a Crop tool rectangle on an image, click outside the rectangle, and drag a new rectangle, the settings for the previous rectangle appear on the floating toolbar.
- When the Crop tool is active and you use the mouse wheel to zoom in on an image, the image “jumps around.”
- After you use the Crop tool in the Express Lab, the values in the Width and Height controls appear as "1" instead of reflecting the actual dimensions of the cropped image.
- The Toothbrush mode of the Makeover tool produces unsatisfactory results when you attempt to whiten teeth that have a similar color to skin tone or appear in shadowy areas of a photo.
- The Ctrl + Shift + V method of pasting does not work properly when the Pen tool is active.
- When you drag the Color Balance dialog box to enlarge it and then display the Advanced Options, some of the options do not appear on the screen.
- Attempts to apply some plug-in effects sometimes result in the error message "plug-in passed bad parameters."

You can also obtain an updated list of currently supported cameras from the Corel Knowledge Base. Go to http://support.corel.com, select Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 from the Product and Services menu, type the term "raw" in the search field, and press Search.
